Head of brand & trade marketing – Glasgow, UK

Hello, we are looking for an experienced brand & trade marketing manager to be a part of our core team in Glasgow.

We’ve got some ambitious marketing plans for 2017 and beyond and we’re looking for a bright and energetic experienced brand and trade marketing manager to help develop and launch our brand. We are on a mission to achieve national presence and distribution in the UK grocery market by 2020, and we need your help to get us there. You will be responsible for gaining a true insight into our consumers, the market and our competitors, to develop clear strategies that will help us drive our brand forward in the UK. Your role will stretch across communication development, portfolio management, innovation launches and in-store activation. It’s a meaty role which will help build your marketing fundamentals across an exciting and innovative brand, and one with lots of potential for personal development and employee stock ownership plan.

The key objectives for this role in are

  • Developing and executing the annual brand and trade marketing plans
  • Developing, delivering & reviewing fantastic above and below the line campaigns, including in store activation
  • High quality execution of creative & media
  • Managing relationship with creative agencies
  • Working with consumer insights to identify relevant insights which guides our marketing strategy
  • Recommend and execute brand strategy to make sure we’re a brand that consumers love and talk about

Competencies and skills required are:

  • Experience of launching commercially successful NPD, ideally within the UK FMCG market – both on-trade and off-trade
  • Excellent track record on developing ATL and BTL comms, from briefing to final execution, partnering with external agencies and influencing internal stakeholders
  • Ability to get information from different sources, make decisions and form structured recommendations and plans for marketing, brand development and activation
  • Has experience and broad understanding of the UK’s major grocery and convenience retailers and be comfortable to roll up the sleeves and engage with customers
  • A confident self-starter with the passion and enthusiasm to develop and engage in projects that deliver great business results.
  • Excellent communication and management skills
  • Any kind of prior exposure, experience or engagement with a startup would be an added advantage

National account manager – Glasgow, UK

Hello, we are looking for an experienced national account manager to be a part of our core team in Glasgow.

We’ve got some ambitious distribution plans for 2017 and beyond and we’re looking for a bright and energetic experienced account manager to help launch our brand and achieve wide distribution. We are on a mission to achieve national presence and distribution in the UK grocery market by 2020, and we need your help to get us there. You will be responsible for developing clear channel strategies, retail distribution plans and developing relations with major grocery and on-trade accounts that will help us drive our brand forward in the UK. Your role will stretch from forming a structure plan focused on driving sales and revenue through managing range, distribution, space, price and promotions through the year. It’s a meaty role which will give you the opportunity to utilise your experience and expertise in a smaller, exciting and more autonomous business that provides freedom and accountability to deliver, and one with lots of potential for personal development and employee stock ownership plan.

The key objectives for this role in are:

  • Developing channel strategies and distribution plans
  • Build strategic partnerships with trade partners and customers

Finance & administration assistant – Glasgow, UK

We’ve got some ambitious plans for 2017 and beyond and we’re looking for a bright and energetic Finance & administration assistant to help run our day-to-day finance tasks and provide administrative support. We are on a mission to achieve national presence and distribution in the UK grocery market by 2020, and we need your help to get us there. We are looking forward to moving fast and that requires administrative support that others in the team can depend upon. It’s an exciting role which will give you the opportunity to learn and engage in various administrative aspects of the business, and one with lots of potential for personal development and employee stock ownership plan.

The key objectives for the role are:

  • Operate the company accounting system, including invoice entry, journals and bank reconciliations
  • Assist with the procurement process
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications through phone, email or post
  • Provide administrative support to all internal stakeholders and employees
  • Office management and other ad hoc duties

Competencies and skills required are:

  • Familiar with operating a small company accounting system
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office and Microsoft excel
